There are several different
lenses that can be used with the ProScope.
The ProScope comes with a M50
lens or the 30N lens.
Different kits come with
different size lenses such as: 1-10X, M100, M200
There are stands that can be
used to hold the scope still while viewing.
I used the ProScope to help
the students get a closer look at matter.
I used the Interval mode to
show the melting of ice.
I used the Movie mode to
watch the boiling water.
I also used the
Camera/Picture mode to have students take pictures of different solid items.
Other Uses in the Classroom:
·
Observe an insect
·
Look closer at different
materials
·
Look at a leaf
·
Record interval shots of
a plant, ice…
·
Record a movie of an
insect
·
Look at soil
·
Look at rocks, fossils…
