¥Make/load your movie
¥Click Share: iWeb
¥Click: Share for video podcast
(the computer creates a template
page in iWeb for your podcast—see iWeb below)
¥Click the Ò+Ó on lower left side to create a new
track (or in the top menu ÒTrack: New TrackÓ)
¥Under ÒTrack InfoÓ choose ÒVocalsÓ or ÒPodcastingÓ
and experiment with effects for your voice. Record something.
¥Click on the ÒeyeÓ icon to open the loop browser.
¥Click on the Podcast symbol in lower left corner. Choose a jingle and drag it into the work space.
¥Click on the triangle icon in the jingle track icon bar. Click on the volume line in multiple places to create fade inÕs and fade outs.
¥Drag your voice clip to where it fits best.
VIDEO/VISUALS
¥If you want to create a soundtrack for visuals, click ÒTrack: Show video trackÓ if you want to use video or ÒTrack: Show podcast trackÓ if you want still pictures with your audio.
¥When you are ready to publish click
ÒShare: iWebÓ (see iWeb below)
á -You have a main page and a page for each Podcast. In the main page, the information at the left side is the overall information about the series which will show up in iTunes if you choose to submit it there. At the top is a list of the different podcasts that you have.
á Change the text by clicking into that area. You can add pictures by drag and dropping.
á Load it onto the web
á File: Publish to .Mac (if you have an account). Progress shown on the ÒSiteÓ icon at the left.
á File: Publish to a folder (if you have a different web space).
á To submit your podcast to iTunes
o In
the site organizer, select the page that contains the podcast you want to
submit.
o If
the Blog & Podcast Inspector isn't open, click Inspector in the toolbar (or
choose View > Show Inspector), click the Blog & Podcast Inspector
button, and then click Podcast.
o Enter
information about the podcast series or episode.
o Make
sure the "Allow Podcast in iTunes Music Store" checkbox is selected
and then choose File > Submit Podcast to iTunes.
