Internet Collabration Sites, Tools & Approaches

The focus of the workshop will be on 15 Internet sites that teachers will find useful for collaborating with peers, as well as facilitating student collaboration.  Issues and sites covered include:  1) Public bookmarks uploading your favorites and sharing with your students and peers both within district and beyond.  2) Email that supports international student key pals and facilitates joining collaborative projects.  3) Web-based websites building allowing for students and educators to build project-based sites together, including tools to facilitate teacher-led surfing, creation of webquests, or student-created links.  4) Teacher collaborative sites for peer support.  5) Survey, quiz making and other tools to facilitate feedback.
